Platform faller ho painting and weathering

Hellen, a colleague from my work, told me that she bought for her sun a Faller ho train platform, but it was grey plastic everywhere so i asked her to give it to me and make some improvments. So i did ,i painted the whole thing with Citadel acrylics, weathered it with sand paper and black washes, highlited some details(e.g. the metallic columns screws), printed some 1:87 train station announsments and outdoor advertisments, glued some figures on the platform and after placing a big carboard with a city photo as background, an old train station ,some Marklin c-track straights back and in front of the platform and an electric powered train on the tracks, i took some shots from various angles.

Making of a new tree

This is a method of building a fir tree in large scale (35 cm height). For its construction i used a stick with one cm radius(trunk), hard wire cut to many pieces of various lengths(branches),Woodland scenics thin  ballast (trunk's wood texture), Heki medium green folliage, glues, primer spray, acrylics etc. I also took a box and modified a bit. It was cut at one of its sides and a transparent wrap hot glued as a window to the inside of the box for the viewer. Then a square hard foam base with some grass glued on it for better presentation. At the end i designed and printed the ''tree shop'' logo and glued it on the top and side of the box with the ''decoupage'' method.
